Our story began about 5 years ago, both of us new to the Lehigh Valley area in search of
friendships that could last us a lifetime or at least through the rough toddlers years we had ahead
of us. We became friends and in no time introduced one another to our likes and dislikes. It just so
happened we both had a "thing" for cleaning...yeah, it IS crazy. As in many households, then and now,
double incomes are needed and neither one of us had explored the part-time world of work just yet
when we had the idea of a partnership. There was already so much we were doing together, why not
overload ourselves with each others presence?
We dove right into researching all we could about a cleaning business and the cleaning industry
within Pennsylvania. We came upon really great websites, we stumbled upon really bad websites, we
examined franchises and made our decision- we were on our own mission, we were going to try and
get really good at this cleaning stuff.
It wasn't until our 2nd month of marketing (via kids in strollers looking at all the "pretty houses"
as our cell phones rang at all times of the day with interested door hanger recipients), that we
realized, we had really created jobs for ourselves doing something we enjoyed. Here we are now
writing a story on OUR website. We're finally considering ourselves a "long lasting business",
we're feeling strong and we are proud of one another. We're also very proud of our more than a
dozen employees we've had in our past and present times, we've still remained friends and the
majority of our kids are NO LONGER toddlers (yeah, Vivian has one more to go while Stephanie has
a REALLY grown up one in High School...) and we have a business...how cool is this story?
We appreciate you, our reader, so much. If you've already become a client, THANK YOU and we're
really grateful for the many opportunities you've given us to do business in the really great county
of Lehigh Valley! If you are simply browsing around our website, THANK YOU and we're really
grateful you found us worthy of your time.
Sincerely,
"2 Moms..."
